Truva Cafe & Grill

I can't with this place. It's just so good. Always on point. Always delicious, generous, satisfying, surprising, simple, decadent, and generously-portioned (while remaining affordable and never arriving out-of-time). I really can't recommend them enough. As my best friend (who's also a fan) says, "I'm in a sexy relationship with Truva." Order from this restaurant. They never disappoint.

I order from here at least once a week. The food tastes great, the pricing point vs. portion rate is excellent and sometimes the food is delivered within 20 minutes. Also, the gyro isnt salty like some of the other places. Thanks!

THIS is where you go for quality Mediterranean food. I've eaten at their restaurant about 10 times now and the service is prompt & friendly, but nevermind that, the FOOD is excellent. =D You're missing out if you don't eat there.

This place is always great! Seriously! If you're hesitant give it a try. Have tried Lamb/Chicken Gyro, Hummus, Chicken/Beef/Lamb skewers. All fantastic

I don't love Turkish cuisine. It's not my first choice because it's not spiced as much as other Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisineso Truva was not my first choice. But it was close to middle eastern and the minimum was good and lower than our usual go-to. I'm also familiar with the restaurant from walking by and I know they're pros. I ordered Iskender and got a great value: giant pile of perfectly cooked doner (like gyro) on a bed of soft bread cubed and smothered in mild tomato sauce, topped with a grilled pepper. Sides: 8 oz (!!!) of fresh yogurt and a whole loaf of their fresh turkish bread. It's enough food for three people. The delivery arrived in ten minutes. Last bit: we have a child and so i always ask for delivery to call me instead of ringing the apt. I usually remember to add this to my seamless order and half the places ignore it. This time i forgot to add it and instead i called and asked them not to ring the bull, but just call me. They did it. They made sure the delivery guy called me instead of waking up my daughter like the other dozen delivery guys do. I would have loved another grilled pepper or two instead of the 2 lbs meatfor variety.

Truva has consistently been an amazing choice. I have probably ordered from them more than any other place over the last few years and it's super tasty every time. Their homemade bread is sooo incredible especially when it's warm. Lamb and chicken gyros are better than others around which says a lot being in Astoria. I highly recommend this restaurant. 5 stars.

These guys are great!!!! We ordered lentil soups and chicken cubes platters. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. Probably the best place for Turkish or mediterranean food in Astoria. Food arrived on time regardless of horrible weather conditions. I will definitely be ordering again. Thank you!

Excellent Turkish food..! The food was really fresh and delicious. Lahmacun and Pide were absolutely scrumptious. Our food was delivered hot and relatively fast. A top notch place in terms of quality of food. Definitely will order from here again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love how fresh and delicious the food is and how prompt they are with delivery. Totally worth the 4 dollar delivery fee. Everything is homemade and it is reflected in the dynamic flavors and unique blends of spices in their dips and food:) love love love!
